Welcome to NS Public Relations (National Strategies Public Relations). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at https://nationalstrategiespublicrelations.com/ (the “Website”) and the public relations services we provide. By accessing or using our Website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our” refers to National Strategies Public Relations, founded by Jennifer Vickery, a Tampa-based strategic communications firm.
“Client,” “you,” “your” refers to any individual or organization that accesses our Website or engages our services.
“Services” means all public relations, media relations, crisis management, strategic communications, and related services provided by NS Public Relations.
“Content” refers to all text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and other materials available on the Website.
2. Services Overview
NS Public Relations provides strategic communications services including but not limited to:
- Strategic communications planning and narrative development
- Media relations and press outreach
- Crisis management and special situations response
- Event planning and integrated campaigns
- Thought leadership programs
- Community outreach and reputation management
All services are subject to availability and mutual agreement between the Company and Client.
3. Service Engagement
3.1 Scope of Work
Services are provided based on agreed-upon scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing as outlined in individual service agreements or proposals. Monthly retainers typically begin at $3,000, while project-based campaigns start at $5,000.
3.2 Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for service delivery
- Grant reasonable access to relevant personnel, materials, and information
- Respond to requests for feedback or approvals within agreed timeframes
- Obtain necessary internal approvals before authorizing media outreach or public statements
- Maintain confidentiality of strategic plans and proprietary methodologies shared by NS Public Relations
3.3 Timeline and Results
While some PR tactics may generate immediate results, sustainable public relations success typically requires 3-6 months. We provide monthly progress reports and establish realistic milestones, but cannot guarantee specific media placements, coverage volume, or business outcomes as these factors involve third-party decisions beyond our control.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Fees and Invoicing
- Monthly retainer fees are due at the beginning of each month
- Project fees are outlined in individual agreements
- Invoices are payable within 15 days of receipt
- Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month
- All fees are non-refundable except as specifically stated in individual service agreements
4.2 Expenses
Client will reimburse reasonable expenses incurred on their behalf, including but not limited to media monitoring services, distribution services, travel, and event costs. All expenses over $500 require prior client approval.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Client Materials
Clients retain ownership of all materials, information, and content provided to NS Public Relations. By providing such materials, Client grants us a license to use them solely for providing services under our agreement.
5.2 Work Product
All strategies, press releases, media lists, messaging frameworks, and other materials created by NS Public Relations specifically for Client (“Work Product”) become Client property upon full payment. However, NS Public Relations retains the right to use general knowledge, skills, experience, and methodologies developed during the engagement.
5.3 Company Property
Our proprietary methodologies, templates, processes, and general materials remain the exclusive property of NS Public Relations. Case studies and portfolio use require written client permission.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information shared during the engagement, including:
- Strategic plans and business information
- Unpublished news and announcements
- Proprietary methodologies and approaches
- Financial information
This obligation survives termination of the service agreement.
7. Media Relations and Disclaimers
7.1 No Guaranteed Placement
NS Public Relations will use best efforts to secure media coverage, but cannot guarantee specific placements, publication timing, or coverage tone as editorial decisions rest solely with media outlets.
7.2 Media Accuracy
We are not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or editorial changes made by journalists or media outlets. We will work to address factual errors when they occur.
7.3 Third-Party Actions
We are not liable for actions, statements, or coverage by journalists, media outlets, social media users, or other third parties.
8. Crisis Management
For crisis management and special situations services, response times and service levels are specified in individual crisis retainer agreements. While we provide strategic counsel and rapid response, client must make final decisions on crisis communications actions.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by Either Party
Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Client remains responsible for payment of all fees through the notice period and any outstanding expenses.
9.2 Immediate Termination
We reserve the right to immediately terminate services if Client:
- Fails to make timely payments
- Provides false or misleading information
- Engages in illegal activities or requests services that violate ethical standards
- Materially breaches these Terms
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Client must pay all outstanding fees and expenses
- We will provide Client with completed Work Product
- Both parties’ confidentiality obligations continue
- No refunds for services already performed
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
10.1 Service Limitations
NS Public Relations provides professional services and counsel but cannot control third-party decisions, public reactions, or media coverage. We are not liable for outcomes beyond our direct control.
10.2 Liability Cap
Our total liability arising from any service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by Client during the six months preceding the claim.
10.3 Excluded Damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Website Use
11.1 Acceptable Use
You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Collect information about other users without consent
- Impersonate NS Public Relations or misrepresent your relationship with us
11.2 Website Content
All Website content is provided “as is” for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant completeness or currentness of Website information.

14. Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify and hold NS Public Relations harmless from claims arising from:
- False or misleading information provided by Client
- Client’s violation of laws or third-party rights
- Client’s use of our Work Product in ways not approved by us
- Client’s failure to obtain necessary permissions or licenses
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tampa, Florida.
15.3 Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal action, parties agree to attempt good faith informal resolution through direct communication.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any signed service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties and supersede all prior discussions or agreements.
16.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
16.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16.4 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
16.5 Assignment
We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms. Client may not assign without our written consent.
16.6 Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or communication network failures.
