Specialities and Superpowers

I turn ordinary stories into amazing stories and I can sell just about any story to the media.

A Little Bit About Me

My passion for ideas and words have propelled my 25-year career as a TV news executive producer and public relations manager. I have worked as president and vice president of two PR firms but have found just the right fit with nspr. My obsession over idea creation, writing, and working with the media has earned me a reputation among clients as the media guru who makes it happen. I help companies—from the start-ups to the well-established—make headlines in the media outlets their target audiences read and watch. I work with entrepreneurs to discover potent and original ways to speak about their company…so they can stand out, make more money, and gain a loyal following.

I’ve been a journalist since I was 10 years old, when I won a contest for writing an essay about my family’s journey to the US. Since then, I’ve written thousands of stories about compelling people, companies and products that all are deservedly newsworthy. My success comes from knowing how the media works on the inside because—unlike most—I’ve been in the newsroom through hurricanes, school shootings, hanging chad elections, and the loss of our 9/11 heroes.

What I Love Most About My Job

Every day is different. You never know what you’re going to get. Also, I enjoy the fact that it forces me to learn a new industry, client or way of doing things. The learning process keeps me sharp and on my toes. I also love the interaction and brainstorming with my co-workers. They are so smart!

When I'm Not At Work

My off-time usually includes building beach sandcastles or visiting Disney parks with my little one, immersing myself in a good book, listening to music, working out, visiting quaint towns and indulging in a pumpkin latte.

One Thing Most People Don't Know About Me

I’m shy until I get to know you. I love biographies. I know a lot about US presidents, and I’m a theme park junkie.
